Front-End Development
Web Development is my passion with Angular and Javascript being my tools of choice. I also work with css framworks like Bootstrap and Foundation and have a love for css preprocessors like SCSS/SASS.
Design
With a background in graphic design and a strong desire to make the world more beautiful, design will always possess a special place in my heart. Illustrator is my method of choice but I also have working knowledge of Photoshop and strong knowledge of Sketch.
HTML Emails
Your company does great work and your email campaigns should show that. I keep track of the latest improvements in email client support so I can ensure that the campaigns I send out are as effective as possible.
Development
Beyond front end development I am also comfortable working with Node, Rails and Sinatra framworks and have expreiance with both SQL and NoSQL databases.the PROCESS

Swift Dev Weekly
Swift Dev Weekly is a weekly newsletter curated by myself and developer Matthew Carriere. The website and social media campaigns were created and maintained by me. Buddha Bar
This site was built as a stock management system for online sales. Our primary focuse is on small, independent sellers. The site pulls data in from authenticated sites and polls for changes. If an item is sold on one site it is removed from the others. Users are also able to update stock on all sites via the dash board. Node, Angular, Mongoose, MongoDB, Express, OAuth and various API's

Post It Online
Microsoft computers use to come with a app that allowed users to create sticky notes on their desktop. We liked the idea and created a online version. Notes in our app are accessable from anywhere and users are free to create as many boards as they like. Instead of signing in we use generated URL paths to create private boards. I am Regan Perkins front-end web developer and designer currently interning at Pressboard as a Angular developer. I am an active member in Vancouver's various development meetup groups and hackathons. I also work part time as a teaching assistant at Lighthouse Labs. Development is not just a job to me it is a passion. I believe that impactful development does not happen in a vacuum and to that end I try to stay engaged in Vancouver's growing tech scene.
